Announcement to call for
papers and book reviews to JSFESNo. 16
The Institute of Russian Studies, Hallym University in the Republic of Korea, publishes a biannual international journal, the Journal of Siberian and FarEastern Studies (JSFES), June 30 and December 31. The journal is published primarily in e-journal form.
All the papers and book reviews in previous issues can also be downloaded at the online submission system and the Institute Homepage:

JSFES No. 16 will be issued on June 30, 2017. Academic papers or book reviews for the issue should be submitted by April 30, 2017 to the same online submission system: http://acoms.jams.or.kr/journal.do?method=journalintro&journalSeq=J000018.
To submit papers or book reviews, authors should register to the system. Referees of papers and book reviews should also register and submit judgment forms tothe system.
Papers and book reviews should be written in English or Russian, butto increase the approachability to readers,English is preferable. Especially book reviews in Russian which passed judgment will be translated in English by the editorial board after authors’ final revision.
Books for reviews should be written in English or Russian, and the publication date should be after January 1, 2015. Themes should relate to the current status of the Russian Far East in religious, socio-cultural, political, economic or natural dimensions. Book reviewers should inform the editorial board of their submission as earlyas possible.

Please make sure that the forms of manuscripts should be correspondent to our regulations, especially the readability ofmanuscripts should be high. For the papers and book reviews to be included in JSFES after official judgment, Institute will give an honorarium of $300 to authors of papers in English, $200 to authors of papers in Russian, and $100 to authors of book reviews in English or Russian.
